The cut of Vest Dress is strongly inspired by the japanese sodenashi hanten vests usually worn by farmers as an extra padding or sleeveless garment. The outer fabric are is often composed of thick indigo cotton refined with a sashiko stitching which reinforce the garment and staple more layers together.
